Description

This is a terrace of houses built around 1830 on London Road. The terrace comprises numbers 73 to 78. The houses are three storeys high with a basement, and are constructed of stucco, with the ground floor having a rusticated appearance. Stringcourses and a cornice run along the façade. There are 14 windows in total, all retaining their original glazing bars. Bay windows are incorporated into the ground floor design. Number 78 features a balustraded parapet. The doorcases are distinguished by projecting cornices, rectangular fanlights above the doors, and six-panelled doors. Some original wrought iron area railings and stone balustrades are present. The terrace forms a group with numbers 66A to 79.
