Description
22 King Street is a terrace house located in St James's, built in the mid-18th century and refronted in the early 19th century. The building features a brown brick façade and a slate roof, rising to four storeys with a stucco cornice, a blocking course, and a dormered mansard. It is two windows wide. The ground floor was altered in the mid-20th century, now featuring a stone pilastered office front. The upper floors have revealed glazing bar sashes set under flat gauged arches. A geometric pattern cast iron balcony spans the first floor, and there are window guards on the upper floors.
