Description

No. 18 Crown Passage is a terrace house with a shop, dating from the early to mid 18th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of stock brick and features a slate roof. The building has three storeys and a dormered mansard. To the right, there is a square-headed doorway with a fanlight and a panelled door. The late 18th-century wooden shop front includes reeded pilasters that support an entablature and a projecting bracketed shop window. The upper floors are fitted with nearly flush framed sash windows, some of which have glazing bars, all set under flat red brick arches.
