Description

This is a block of terraced houses located on Warwick Way, with addresses ranging from 119 to 125, and also incorporating numbers 46 and 48 Cambridge Street. The buildings date to around 1840 and are constructed of brick with stucco dressings and channelling to the ground floor. The houses are three storeys high, with a basement, and two windows wide. They feature slightly projecting porches supported by square piers, and have panelled front doors. A continuous balustraded balcony runs along the first floor. The windows are sash windows with margin glazing bars, and are architraved above the ground floor windows with cornices to the first floor. A dentil cornice sits above the second floor. A canted bay window is visible at the corner of number 48 Cambridge Street, and the building is topped with a parapet. Cast iron area railings are also present. The listing includes the property for its group value, in conjunction with houses on Cambridge Street and Alderney Street.
