TQ 2981 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER FRITH STREET, W1 58/45 24.6.75 No. 62 GV II Terrace house. c.1690 probably but with alterations. Stock brick (probably not original), concealed roof. 4 storeys. 3 windows wide. Ground floor has late C20 shop front. Upper floors have flush framed glazing bar sashes under segmental gauged arches. Parapet with coping; 2nd storey sill band. Interior retains elements of late C17 fittings including closed string staircase with turned balusters. No. 62 is probably of one build with Nos. 63 and 64. Survey of London; Vol. XXXIII.
