Description
No. 61 Frith Street is a terrace house built around 1680-1690 by carpenter Richard Campion. It has undergone late 18th-century alterations and was refaced in 1950. The building is stuccoed with a concealed roof and consists of four storeys plus a basement, featuring three windows across the front. The ground floor has been modified with a mid-20th-century shop front, but retains a semicircular arched fanlight doorway on the left. The upper floors display architraved recessed sash windows, along with a cornice and blocking course. There are wrought iron area railings topped with urn finials. The interior has been altered, but some early 19th-century details remain.
