Description

A pair of semi-detached houses dating to circa 1840, located on the east side of Maida Vale. The houses are constructed of brick with stucco dressings and have slate hipped roofs behind a parapet. Each house has a two-window width plus a single-storey, one-bay projection extending outwards at each end. They are two storeys high, with an attic and a basement. The outer bays of the main body of the houses project slightly, featuring pilastered and corniced entrances with architraves to the square-headed windows and doors. Cornices are present above the ground floor windows. The windows are sash windows, with glazing bays to number 108. There is a cornice above the first floor and a parapet to the roof. Pedimental blocking courses are visible to the outer one and two-storey bays. Each house has gabled attic windows. Cast iron window guards are present on the ground floor. The buildings are part of a sequence of similar pairs lining Maida Vale.
