Description

Nos 86 and 88 Maida Vale are a pair of early 19th-century terraced houses. No. 88 is stuccoed, while No. 86 is brick. Each house is two storeys and has a basement, with a symmetrical facade of three windows. A central, projecting porch with fluted Doric columns is a prominent feature. The windows are square-headed sashes. No. 86 has a later canted bay on the ground floor, and No. 88 features a cast iron balcony to the ground floor. Pilasters are situated between the bays. Stucco cornices are present. The houses are included on the list for group value.
