Description
Nos 112 and 114 are a pair of semidetached houses built around 1840. They are constructed of brick with stucco dressings and feature a slate hipped roof with a parapet. Each house has two windows across the front, plus an additional one-storey, one-bay projection at each outer edge. The buildings are two storeys high, with an attic and a basement. The outer bays of the main structure are slightly set forward and have square-headed entrances that are pilastered and corniced. The panelled doors at No 114 have been replaced. The windows and doors have architraves, and there are cornices at the ground floor level. The houses feature sash windows with glazing bars and a cornice above the first floor, along with a parapet and pedimental blocking courses above the outer one and two-storey bays. Each house has a gabled attic window. This pair is part of a sequence of similar houses that line Maida Vale.
