Description
This is a terrace of houses located on the north-west side of Norfolk Square, probably dating from the 1850s. The buildings are constructed of brick, with a stucco finish, and have a concealed roof. Each house is three bays wide and extends over four storeys, with an attic and basement. Projecting Tuscan porches with round arches provide access to the properties. The windows are tripartite sashes, and an iron balcony is present on the first floor. Casement windows are set within architraves, which feature consoles supporting a pulvinated frieze and segmental pediments. Above, further sashes are found within architraves, and cornices are present beneath the windows of the second floor. A modillion cornice runs along the top of the building, although it is not continuous. Iron railings enclose the basement level. The buildings are included in the listing primarily for their group value.
