Description

This is a row of houses located at 8-14 Buckingham Palace Road. They were likely built around 1840. The houses are constructed of stucco, with the roof hidden from view. They stand four storeys high, each house featuring two windows. The ground floor currently contains mainly 20th-century shops. A continuous iron balcony runs across the first floor. The windows have square heads, with architraves on the ground floor. The first floor windows are sashes with glazing bars, and also include French casements. A dentil cornice is present above the third floor. The properties are listed for their group value alongside numbers 16 to 24 on the same side of the road.
