Description
There are seven lamp standards located on the approach to the Victoria Memorial from Buckingham Gate. These lamp standards date from the early to mid-19th century and are made of cast iron with an octagonal shape. Most of them are monogrammed with "G IV" and "W IV" and feature Windsor lanterns. They are part of a notable series of early lamp standards found in the Mall, Green Park, St. James's Park, Birdcage Walk, and Horse Guards.
