Description
The south screen to Buckingham Palace forecourt, backing onto Ambassadors' Court, is a colonnade screen built around 1836 or in the 1840s, likely designed by Blore. It features bath stone and cast iron columns in a Greek Doric style. The screen includes a central coupled column that forms a former gateway, an entablature, and a balustrade that is broken forward over the gateway, topped with an attic and carved Royal Arms.
