Description

The Blenheim Arms is a detached public house dating to around 1840. It is constructed of stucco. The building occupies a corner site and is three storeys high, with three bays facing each facade. A central, projecting porch with fluted Doric columns is present on the Carlton Hill frontage. The ground floor is characterised by channelled decoration and a cornice above. First-floor windows are tripartite, each with a cornice. Some windows contain plate glass, while those on the upper storey have margin glazing. A main cornice runs above the second floor, interrupted by a stucco blocking course that rises to the centre of each facade, displaying the words "The Blenheim". A single-storey, one-window wing extends to the left of the Carlton Hill facade.
