Description

Nos 12 to 22 on Barnes Street, built in the early 19th century, are a terrace of cottages made from stock brick and featuring a coped parapet. The roof is not visible. The cottages have a stucco band at the first floor and a stucco plinth. They are two storeys tall with a basement and each has two windows, which have gauged flat arches, painted reveals, and sash windows, with most glazing bars intact. The doorways are round-headed and set in recessed arches, complete with fanlights and fluted pilasters. Nos 12 to 22 form a group with Nos 33 to 45.
