Description

Nos 2 to 10 on Barnes Street, built in the early 19th century, are a terrace of cottages made from stock brick. They feature a coped parapet, and while the roof is not visible, the buildings stand two storeys high with a basement. Each cottage has two windows with sash frames. Most of the cottages, except for Nos 6 and 8, have doors adorned with fluted pilasters, while Nos 6 and 8 have later square-headed doors. These cottages are listed as Grade II due to their group importance, as they form a cohesive architectural group with Nos 1 to 15 on the opposite side of the street.
