Description
The Queen's Head Public House is a late 18th or early 19th century end-of-terrace building. It is constructed of stock brick with a mansard roof covered in slate, and features a coped parapet. The building is two storeys high with dormers, and has three windows. The first-floor windows are set within wide, shallow recessed brick arches, each with a stone keystone. The central window contains a 19th-century casement with glazing bars. The other windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A cornice and fascia board extends above a partly tiled ground floor. The public house forms part of a group of buildings with numbers 3 to 8 Flamborough Street, numbers 17 to 31 Barnes Street (odd numbers), and numbers 1 to 16 York Square, all surrounding York Square.
