Description

BROMLEY STREET E1 1. 4431 (East Side) Nos 6 to 90 (even) TQ 3581 16/914 7.6.73. II GV 2. Early C19. Terrace of brick cottages with coped parapet and stucco string course at 1st floor sill height. Patched brick work, and some rebuilding in same style, as a result of war damage. 2 storeys, 2 windows each, sashes, mostly with glazing bars. Round arched doorways with fluted or plain pilasters and fanlights. Some 6 panelled doors remain. Many houses now empty with ground floor windows and doors boarded across. Internally said to have panelled dados and plain fluted mantelpieces.

Nos 6 to 90 (even) and Nos 9 to 47 (odd) opposite with No 49 (The British Prince Public House) form a group.
