Description
This is an 18th and early 19th century terrace of four cottages located on the east side of North Wallington. The cottages are constructed of painted brick (Nos 40 and 41) and red brick with grey brick headers (Nos 42 and 43). A brick string course runs along the first-floor sill line. The roof is tiled and hipped. The cottages have two storeys and eight windows in total, with casement windows. Some windows have glazing bars, and the ground floor windows have cambered head linings. A single-storey cross wing extends from the rear centre of the building. Cottages Nos 37 to 43 form a group, with Nos 37 to 39 being of local interest.
