Description
The Old Manor House, located on Wickham Road in Fareham, is a 18th-century building originally known as Leggs, constructed for the Bennett family. The house features a façade of grey headers with red brick window dressings, quoins, stringcourses, and a cornice, topped with a parapet of grey headers. It stands three storeys high and has five windows, each with segmental heads and sashes that include glazing bars. A notable feature is the porch, which is adorned with Corinthian columns, a segmental pediment with modillions, and a doorway that has a segmental-headed door with 14 fielded panels, two of which are cut away and glazed. Additionally, there is a 19th-century wing added to the southeast.
