Description

Meridian House, located at 115 Poplar High Street, is an early 19th-century building designed by S P Cocknell. It is constructed of yellow stock brick, and the roof is not visible. The building features a central stone pediment that displays a sculptured coat of arms of the East India Company. It is two storeys high and has three windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars and painted reveals. A projecting porch faces the street, complete with an arched door and a fanlight.
