Description
A chest tomb dating to 1756, the designer is unknown. The tomb is constructed of stone and sits on a stepped and moulded base. It has rectangular, inscribed panels on the long sides, flanked by gadrooned pilasters with chamfered corners. The west end features a carved armorial cartouche. A projecting cornice defines the flat cover. The tomb commemorates Solomon Baker, a distiller from Stratford.
