Description
Kingswood, located at No. 14 on North Street, is an early 19th-century building constructed from yellow stock brick, with a white painted stone and brick ground floor added around 1870. It stands three storeys tall and features a symmetrical five-window layout. The first and second floors showcase original sash windows with rubbed brick lintels, with the central windows spaced apart from the pairs on either side. The ground floor has a similar window spacing. The building exhibits a vigorous Venetian Gothic style, characterized by segmental, moulded arches for the windows and doors, as well as foliage and fruit carved imposts. It has a battered plinth. The rear elevation is made of early 19th-century red brick and includes a shallow bow with a triple-hung sash window on the north side and a pedimented centre on the third storey.
