Description

Sworders is a late 18th-century building located on North Street. It is constructed of yellow stock brick and features a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window arrangement. There are three-storey sashed canted window bays on both the north and south sides of the central doorcase. The elevation is divided into three sections by thin brick pilasters, and it is topped with a panelled parapet and cornice. The door is adorned with an open pedimented hood supported by thin Doric columns, and the original reveals are intact. Sash windows are present in the centre bay, and there is a wrought iron sign bracket.
