Description
The Half Moon Inn is a 17th-century timber-framed inn located on North Street. It features modern pebbledash walls and a steep old red tile roof. The building stands two and a half storeys high with a jettied first floor. The entrance is on the south side, accessed by a double flight of stone steps with 19th-century iron railings. There is a cross wing on the north side, which has a 19th-century cusped bargeboard and a trefoiled triangular light in the gable. The inn also includes 19th-century sash windows and gabled dormers, along with a wrought iron and painted sign.
