Description

The remains comprise an entrance arch and screen wall originally associated with a former Chantry House. The wall was constructed around 1890 using materials salvaged from St Michael's Church. It consists of irregular flint and brickwork. A mullioned window of 15th-century date is set within the wall. The window has four cusped lights with a flat moulded top; the central two lights currently serve as an entrance to No 5. The wall is positioned on the axis of the original Chantry House entrance.
