Description

No. 2 is a circa 1800 red brick house with an old red tile mansard roof. It is two and a half storeys high. The south front is symmetrical, featuring a round-headed central doorway with a leaded light and a six-panel door. There are two-storey, mid-19th century canted window bays on either side, with original sash windows. Above the doorway is a single, older sash window, with rubbed brick lintels. The roof has two gabled dormers. The eaves have a brick modillioned cornice. Mid-19th century extensions are located at the centre of the rear elevation, built of yellow stock brick with red banding. A long flint boundary wall runs along the west side of the property, marked by regularly spaced red brick piers and a cement coping.
