Description

Nos 32 and 34, known as Stead and Simpson Ashwell and Chambers, are early 19th-century buildings made of yellow stock brick with a slate hipped roof. They stand three storeys tall and feature three large triple-hung windows on the first and second floors, each with rubbed brick lintels. The shop front at No 34 dates from the late 19th century, while there are also modern shop fronts present. At the rear, there is a weatherboarded extension with old red tiles. These buildings are included for their group value.
