Description

Fairfield Match Works consists of a pair of later 19th-century red brick cottages featuring blue banding. They have a steep hipped roof with a large central chimney and an irregular plan, standing at one and a half storeys high. The northern part of the cottages has two windows, with hooded dormers and unbarred sashes. The buildings and the wall of the listed part of Fairfield Match Works are significant for their contributions to the social and economic history of Bow.
