Description

This late 19th-century red brick boundary wall runs along the road at Fairfield Match Works. The wall features blind gothic arches above blue brick bands, with additional banding. At the southern end is a gothic arched gateway with a crow-stepped gable. The wall is constructed using the outer walls of cottages within the factory grounds. The buildings and wall form a group of significance to the social and economic history of Bow.
