Description

Fairfield Match Works is a late 19th-century building located on Fairfield Road. It has an irregular shape and is constructed of red brick with blue brick banding. The roof is also irregular and covered with slate. A notable feature is the corner turret topped with a pyramidal cap. The building has two bays facing the road and stands three storeys high, featuring two gothic arched windows with unbarred sashes.
