Description
No. 116 on Bow Road is a building from the first half of the 19th century. It features yellow stock brick, a hipped slate roof with a brick cornice, and rusticated brick corners. The building is three stories tall and has three windows, all of which are sash windows with glazing bars. The windows are arched and have labels supported by brackets above them. The first floor windows have unusual brick architraves with an archivolt. The entrance includes a rusticated brick doorcase, steps, and area railings. This building serves as a focal point at the end of Fairfield Road and was formerly a police station.
