Description

Two cast-iron bollards, dating from the 19th century, are located between the statue of W E Gladstone and the entrance to St Mary's Churchyard on Bow Road. Each bollard features an octagonal cap. These bollards, along with St Mary's Church, the iron railings, gate and piers to the churchyard, and the statue of W E Gladstone, create a focal group in the center of Bow Road. They also form a group with Our Lady of St Catherine Roman Catholic Church and No 199 on the north side of Bow Road.
