Description

The Kiln is an early 19th-century building located on Narrowgate. It stands three storeys tall and features three windows. The front is made of plain ashlar stone and is skew built at the side towards Bow Alley. The roof is covered with slate. The building has glazing bar sash windows that are single hung on the second floor. There is a 20th-century shop window with a door located off centre to the left, and a panelled side door off centre to the right. At the rear, there is a narrow three-storey extension with four windows, with the upper two storeys constructed of brick.
