Description

Dorothy Foster Court is a two-storey building located at the rear of number 35 Narrowgate. It was refronted in the early 19th century. The building has five windows on the ground floor and two gabled dormers, along with four other windows, on the first floor. It is constructed of ashlar. The windows are mostly two-light mullioned casements, with hoodmoulds over those on the ground floor. A round-headed doorway is situated on the right-hand side. Shields bearing the Forster Arms (depicting hunting horns with the inscription 'Redde Diem') are displayed on the courtyard walls in two locations.
