Description

No 24 on Elder Street, built in the early 18th century, is a three-storey building made of stock brick with red dressings. The ground floor is finished in stucco and features a carriage entry along with paired doorways. The building has a dormer and three windows, one of which is blank on the second floor. It has a pantiled mansard roof with a parapet. The windows are topped with segmental arches and have double-hung sashes, with flush frames that include cambered head linings and glazing bars. This property is part of a group with Nos 1 to 23 (odd) and Nos 24 to 36 (even) on Elder Street, as well as Nos 9 and 10, contributing to the character of the area.
