Description

A warehouse backing onto St Saviour's Dock, dating from circa 1870 and substantially rebuilt in the 20th century, now converted into flats. The building is constructed of stock brick with a decorative cornice and parapet made of toothed brick. It rises six storeys and comprises five bays. The ground floor features three segmental-arched openings and one square-headed opening. A central hatch rank with a segmental arch (now adapted as balconies) is positioned above the ground floor. The small windows have segmental, gauged yellow brick arches, and grey brick bands mark alternate storeys. A hoist is situated at the hatch rank on the fifth floor. A similar elevation faces the dock. The interior was not inspected. The building contributes significantly to the group value of the warehouses located between St Saviour's Dock and Shad Thames.
