Description
Numbers 16-22 are a terrace of seven houses built between 1824 and 1832. They are constructed from multi-coloured stock brick and feature slate mansard roofs with dormers, except for Nos 19 and 20, which do not have dormers. The houses are three storeys tall, with an attic and basement, and each has two bays, with three openings on the ground floor. The ground floor is rusticated stucco, with bands that form voussoirs above the segmental-arched openings. The doors are adorned with panelled pilasters, cornice heads, and fanlights, although two of the fanlights have been replaced with windows. The sash windows have glazing bars, with the first-floor windows featuring stucco architraves, friezes, and cornices, while the second-floor windows have stucco architraves. There is a stucco sill band on the first floor. The terrace is complemented by cast-iron area railings with spearhead standards. All the listed buildings in Trinity Church Square are recognized as a group.
