Description
31 and 33 East Dulwich Grove are two semi-detached houses built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed of painted stucco and feature a low-pitched, hipped slate roof with deep eaves. The buildings rise three storeys above a basement and have a three-window range. Number 31 has a two-storey, one-bay entrance extension on the left side. There is a sill band at the first floor, and the flat-arched windows have plain reveals with original sash designs: six-over-nine on the ground floor, six-over-six on the first floor, and three-over-six on the second floor. The eaves are both projecting and boxed, and the ground floor is banded and rusticated, creating voussoirs for the round-arched doorways, which are flanked by acanthus brackets. The interior has not been inspected.
