Painted stucco with low-pitched, hipped slate roof with deep eaves soffit. 3 storeys and basement, 3-window range; No.31 with 2-storey, 1-bay entrance extension to left. 1st-floor sill band. Plain reveals to flat-arched windows with sashes of an original design: 6x9 to ground floor, 6x6 above, and 3x6 to 2nd floor. Projecting and boxed eaves. Banded, rusticated ground floor forming voussoirs to round-arched doorways; acanthus brackets flanking entrance. INTERIOR: not inspected.
