Description

These are a pair of semi-detached houses, designed to appear as a single dwelling. They date to the early 19th century, with a later extension added subsequently. The houses are built of stucco, decorated with simple horizontal bands marking the floor levels. The roofs are slate-covered, with short brick chimney stacks at the gables. The houses are three stories high, with basements. Each house has one window, plus a central blind window. A three-story, one-window extension provides a ground-floor garage. A 20th-century tented canopy porch links the central entrances, which have panelled doors. The ground floor windows are casements set within shallow, elliptical arched recesses, featuring cast-iron balconies. The second-floor casements are similarly arched with cast-iron balconies, and the third-floor windows have cambered arches. The interiors have not been inspected.
