Description
No. 218 on Commercial Way is an early 19th-century house made of stucco, featuring a frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The building has three storeys and two bays. The ground floor includes a trellised loggia that frames a four-panel door with fluted quarter columns, a cornice head, and a patterned fanlight, alongside a sash window with vertical glazing bars. Above this, a cast-iron ornamental balcony spans the first floor, which has tall round-arched sash windows with glazing bars set in moulded architraves, complete with console bracketed cornices. The second-floor sash windows also have glazing bars in plain reveals. The interior has not been inspected.
