Description

This is a detached Italianate villa, built around 1838. It is constructed of stucco and has a low-pitched slate roof with projecting eaves supported by brackets. The house is two storeys high with a basement and consists of four bays, with three bays forming a large, full-height canted bay on the right-hand side. A slightly recessed entrance bay is situated on the left; it features a Doric porch with an entablature that supports a balcony with a cast-iron railing, serving the first-floor French windows. The windows have plain reveals and cast-iron guards, with bracketed sills. The ground-floor casements have round, architraved heads and a springing band, while the first-floor windows are square-headed sash windows with glazing bars. A moulded sill band is present on the first floor. The interior of the property has not been inspected.
