Description
This is a late 18th or early 19th century stable building, originally part of Royal Victoria Yard. The south front has two storeys and eight windows. The central two bays project slightly and are topped with a low gable containing a round window. The roof is hipped and slated, and the building is constructed of multicoloured stock brick, with a plinth and a band marking the first floor. Recessed sash windows with glazing bars are set within gauged, near-flat brick arches. The original stable entrances, located centrally on the ground floor, have been filled with boarding and modern doors, incorporating fanlights.
