The River Stairs, located on Grove Street in Royal Victoria Yard, is a set of stone steps that date back to an earlier period. These steps feature wrought-iron gates positioned between stone-capped piers. The site is reputed to be associated with the incident involving Queen Elizabeth and Sir Walter Raleigh's cloak. The stairs have undergone significant restoration.
