Description
East Lodge, located immediately north of Roger's Almshouses, is a two-storey, three-window Tudor-style building dating from the third quarter of the 19th century. It is constructed of stock brick and features a roof with a moderate pitch covered in large slates, supported by overhanging eaves that rest on pierced, curved brackets. The windows are two and three-light casements with four-centred heads and square hoodmoulds. At the center, there is a gabled porch that includes a single Tudor-arched light and an entrance on the left side. The entrance features an eight-panel door set in a chamfered reveal, topped with a four-centred gauged brick head.
