Description

This is a two-block development of 1822, along with a former wash house and linking walls, located on the north side of Acre Lane. The buildings are two storeys high, each with three windows. They are constructed of stock brick, featuring a stone cornice and blocking course. The sash windows have glazing bars, and are topped with gauged flat brick arches. The doorways are paired, sheltered by a wood prostyle Doric porch. A small, central single-storey wash house block, originally blank on the front, is topped with a stone cornice and pediment. A central door is recessed under a console bracketed cornice. Door openings are also present within the linking walls.
