Description
Nos. 119 and 121A, dating to the 1870s, form an end pavilion, closing Jennings Terrace and turning the corner into Tintern Street. The building is three storeys high, with three windows and a canted angle to the three-window return. It is constructed of stock brick with terra-cotta dressings, including vermiculate quoins. The roof is low pitched and slate covered, featuring a moulded cornice and deep, leafy brackets which overlap the second-floor impost string. Segment-headed windows are set within this string, with round-arched first-floor windows featuring rusticated architraves on pilasters with guilloche moulded panels and capitals. The ground floor contains shop fronts with panelled stallrisers and slightly projecting fascias resting on fluted and garlanded columns. The shop front of No. 121A has been slightly altered.
