Description

The Letts family tomb, located in West Norwood Memorial Park, is a pedestal monument and slab above a vault, dating from around 1850, with the designer unknown. It is made of limestone and features a square base with a tapered pedestal that has a scooped profile. The pedestal includes inset inscribed panels and an acanthus frieze, which is adorned with sculptured rams' heads at the corners. The overall design gives the tomb the appearance of a Roman sacrificial altar.
