Description
No 123 Kennington Lane is an early 19th-century building that has been rebuilt on the upper facade to repair damage from the war and other incidents. The structure is made of stock brick and features a parapet front. The ground floor and basement are covered in stucco with incised lines. The building stands three storeys high, plus a basement, and has two windows with replaced sashes that include glazing bars. The upper floors have gauged brick flat arches, while the lower part features stucco moulded architraves. The entrance consists of a six-panel replaced door topped with a radial fanlight, all set within a raised stucco surround that has impost blocks. The steps leading to the door have been rebuilt and include a side wall and a wrought iron handrail. Additionally, there is a rebuilt cast iron forecourt railing with capped brick piers.
