Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace of properties located on Kennington Lane. The terrace has undergone partial rebuilding to replicate its original appearance, repairing damage from wartime and other incidents. The buildings are constructed from stock brick with a parapet front. The basement and ground floor are stuccoed, with the ground floor featuring banded detailing. Each property extends over three storeys and includes a basement, with two windows on each front. The windows are replaced sashes with glazing bars, set within red gauged brick arches. The original six-panel doors have been replaced, and now feature radial fanlights above. Steps leading to the entrances have been replaced and include side walls and wrought iron handrails. The original cast iron forecourt railings and coped brick piers have also been replaced.
